VS81The Diehl VS81 Veneer Splicer is designed to splice long length veneers, custom veneers or high end veneers which require no visible joint line. Traditional splicing requires taping or stitching joints which is more labor intensive and requires more sanding. The VS-81 eliminates this need. Veneers with pre-glued edges are fed into the VS-81 Splicer which accurately carries them through upper and lower heating bars, firmly bonding the edges, to form a perfect seamless joint. The VS81 is equipped with metal lower chains and upper pressure pads.

The Diehl VS-82 Veneer Splicer is similar to the VS-81 except it is equipped with the exclusive non-marking, lubrication-free Diehl "Poly 2000" lower chains and upper pressure pads to eliminate staining on certain species of wood.
